Hank **CourtesyCupid**'s story
Meet Hank!
Hank is a 4 year old yellow lab who we have had from 8 weeks old. He is excellent with my 1 and 2 year old kids, chickens, and cats. From what we noticed he gets along with other female dogs of any size but he does get aggressive with other Male dogs he does not know. We do have a Male black lab who is 5 that he grew up with and he gets along very well with him, as well as my parents 2 large male dogs and his brother from the same litter my family member has. I love Hank very much! He is my big teddy bear! It really does kill me to get rid of him. But the agression with other dogs is something I have tried to work with him on but I do not have the knowledge or skill to brake him of that. (Nor the time with a 1 and 2 year old and working full time). Hank always comes when he has called and is very food motivated! He listens well and knows when he shouldn't be doing something. If you think Hank would be a good fit for you please contact me. I would like to see him go to someone who has time for him and will love him even though he is a bull in a China shop at times.
Hank's adoption fee is $200 and is available in Johnson's Creek, WI.
What is a "Courtesy Cupid"?
Courtesy Cupids are beloved pets that need to be re-homed because of varied circumstances. They are living with their current families, and are not part of the Canine Cupid foster system. Due to the third party nature of these courtesy postings, Canine Cupids makes no guarantee, and claims no knowledge as to the accuracy of the information provided regarding the pet and cannot be held liable for any misrepresentation or misunderstanding between the current owner and the applicant.
Applicants must fill out an online application in order to be placed in contact with the surrendering family. Canine Cupids will only be responsible for processing the application and screening any provided references as a courtesy to the family surrendering the pet. It will then be up to the current owner and applicant to then communicate, in as much detail as requested, the animals age, health, behavior, background, schedules, eating habits, sleeping habits, play styles or anything else that may assist in making a good match between the surrendered pet and the applicant. Because all our Courtesy Cupids are fostered in private homes, an approved application MUST be on file before proceeding with a meet-and-greet. The online application can be found at /adopt-.html.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think its most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether theyll make good companions based on prospective adopters lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed

its a complex mix of nature and nurture.
